Today, Wednesday, April 20th a company was testing in the Cohasset area. The work they were doing had a strong odor to it. The wind shifted and blew that smell towards the school. The scent seemed to come from the building so we evacuated all of our students. As soon as the Cohasset Fire Department confirmed that the smell was not coming from the building and we found out about the testing we called all of our students back in. We are back on a regular schedule. At no time were students in any danger and it turned out to be a false alarm. We take the safety of our students very seriously and are glad to report it was a false alarm. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact me at any time.
